We’ve already agreed on how while learning something new (study resource) we start circulating among interesting people, creating reservoir of energy to empower love resource, all thanks to the gain of stability and level of spontaneity that makes us more attractive as well as help us to widen the circle of acquaintances for informal communication with absence of expectations from either sides. In another words, we open to the broad spectrum of like-minded people and have enough energy to keep us far enough from building illusions and rolling down the pit of addictions – so, we can fall in love. Therefore, if your love life is non-existent it’s always better not to look for a partner in love, but occupy yourself with creative, scientific or sport hobbies, start learning something in groups (or individually but with the chance to share opinions with people of the same passions) to create a field for contacts, in which finding love can become quite simple. You might going to get several options to choose from.
But we also agreed that a new knowledge should help you grow first, not to become a step to get an access to meet a future husband or wife. Love shouldn’t be the main target. The personal development is! Otherwise you will still come out as super clingy and everyone will, on the opposite, avoid you at any cost.
So, I always wanted to learn how to sail. I love the whole entourage that comes with sailing lifestyle dearly, starting with the laid-back elegance of the yacht club members and finishing up with the salty splashes of ocean water while on the boat. And the sweet solitude of course, accompanied only by the wind in the sails that taking you further and further away…
As I’m also planning to move closer to the beach, I’ve decided that sailing skills might become quite handy in my new life setting.
To learn the basics of sailing I’ve picked Manhattan Sailing School for its class scheduling convenience: they teach on weekends, during the week or you can even pick two full days on Monday and Tuesday (my choice) to complete the entire course and get certified (optional for additional charge) – something to definitely start with, what opens up doors to the yacht club membership. They also offer sailing program for kids and organize racing for the club members.
Allow my instructor Charles Rolling explain everything better in this interview to Time Out Magazine:
My sailing day started early at 9 am when Charles picked up me and other four people of out team at the Battery Park City Ferry Terminal to take us on the ferry to Jersey City, where the school’s marina is located.
First, we watched closely how our instructor put the small keel boat of about 20 foot together while naming the parts of the boat that are absolutely foreign for the land human being. In instance, I already knew how to tie some sailing knots and was able to distinguish the luff and the leech of the sails.
We took off shortly across Manhattan Harbor in upwind direction according to the arrow on the head of the mainsail. Being on the water away from city stress is mesmerizing. And the city skyline on one side and the Statue of Liberty on another make you remember why you love New York so much! However for the spoiled residents like us the main attraction of the day was spotting Alex Thomson, solo world traveler yachtsmen, on his chic black boat with elegant Hugo Boss logo all over, who apparently was staying in the city for a few days, became a wonderful strike of luck that good old Statue of Liberty can’t compete with. Alex’s famous mast and keel walk in Hugo Boss suit is a must watch and super popular in sailing world.
This sort of occurrences in life that people often call happy coincidence very often happen in lives of those, who are not trying to control its direction. Spontaneity is a must and it has a lot to do with a focus. Take the focus off the problem, you only making it bigger, and solution will come your way! Stop looking for a husband/wife on dating apps, you will only find karmic partner (a lesson). If you look back at your life it will become clear that the meeting of someone special was always accidental, not forced. Can you see now how basic kitchen wisdom correlates with the circle of energy resources method of manifesting your desires?
Our sailing day was divided into two parts: before and after lunch, for what we had been offered to BBQ on the one of the grills available at the yacht club site. That was a nice touch for everyone enjoyed it very much! Felt more like having a time of your life than studding.
On the second day right after coming back from the day of sailing around 5 pm we took a test, meant for those who wanted to get ASA certified (me!). And even passed it! We had been rewarded with a medal and life changing experience in learning how to sail while having fun with new friends and listening to the sail stories of the true “sea wolf”, our wonderful instructor Charles Rolling. This memories will definitely become the highlights of my summer, and the fact that I learned something new filled me with motivational energy to move forward.
